Girls Night Out - Room 231 - Part one

Upstairs far above the bar, Room 231 has been rented for the night of fun and a warning placed on the Door. No one Under 21 allowed inside... And a sign, with large script written so neatly you would swear it was typed saying Girls Night Out in Progress. Men may enter at their own risk.

You can say this for a Command.Com, when they go about making a party they go ALL the way out. Three tables are set up with User-friendly only snacks and booze, Sprite Friendly only snacks and booze, and a rather bare table waiting for booze that the kitsune promised to bring, being friendly to both data and matter beings!

Pillows abound around a big screen TV, over in a corner several bags sit waiting to surprise the people about the come in. Now all that all that's missing are the girls for their night of fun.

"This is pilah." She says holding up something shaped sort of lemonish, colored orange, and about the size of a tangerine, "It's safe for baseline humans, Sime, and Gens. It's my favorite." and Suzi takes a big bite, rind and all, before pointing at a bowl of them.

Mia takes one and looks at it.

She takes a cautious bite.

"Of course and certainly!" Laini tucks her feet under herself, tail curling around her legs, and leans over to take one of Zelda's hands.

"Easy enough, you just have to be careful. Uncap the polish, wipe any drips off on the sides, and-"

The kitsune demonstrates, and one by one, Zelda's nails are painted lavender.

Zelda wiggles her fingers, and beams. "That's lovely, thank you!"

And now she wonders.

"Can I try?" she asks Laini.

And the inside is sweet. It's a little like orange juice with extra sugar.

"This is delicious," she says, pleased. "Pilah, you called it?"

She wants to make sure she gets the name right for Miss Bar.

"Uh huh! It didn't even start growing until about the same time as Sime and Gen evolved? I love pilah, and so does Whistler." He likes to lick up spilled juice, yes. Yes he does. "So I made sure we got a bunch for tonight."

She ponders the fruit in her hand after another bite.

"I wonder if they can be grown at home," she says after swallowing.

It would be nice to have a supply of them behind the office by the pool.

"I have no idea? You could ask Bar for a dwarf pilah tree?" She suggests, "Something sized for a desk? My home is, um. Hot and swampy, in most places?"

Oh dear. "Well I used to look good in a goldyellow and purple." ...That's right, Mouse has never seen what Dot used to look like. "Let's try that manicure first."

"Not quite the right climate then, but I might be able to do something about that. This could be a great subject of study at the Magic Guild."

Guess she's inheriting the garden too.

"They're pretty easy to grow." She offers, "I wasn't even able to kill mine, and I'm a horrible gardener."

"That's good. I'll be busy when I get home and I might not be the only one tending it. Everyone interested in plant magic will probably want to help care for it and I can't think of anyone who wouldn't want to try the fruit."

"Yep!" Laini beams, handing over the glow-in-the-dark silver glitter bottle to Mia.

"And by then, your nails should be dry-" She smiles at Zelda- "And you can do hers. It all sorta works out."

"Isn't it wonderful?" she says with a happy sigh, "Whistler keeps bringing them for dinner, and it's good."

Zelda nods and looks back down at her pretty fingernails.

"I like this paint." she says, smiling again.

Mia tries her hand at painting Laini's nails.

It's really not so different from when she was painting sculptures.

"How is that?" she asks.

It's not bad for a first timer.

"I don't eat much?" She offers, "So Whistler brings things I like, as well as...that gets technical. Um. He can make me eat, even if I'm not hungry."

"I've only recently gotten back to my normal eating habits after being sick. Being nauseous for a few days meant it took a while for me to really get my appetite back. Other than that, I'm afraid I really can't relate."

She's glad she got better in time for this.

Laini eyes her nails appraisingly. "Not bad at all." A nod, and she smiles, admiring her nails.

"We can see about doing our toenails as well, and grab some more people to practice on." She grins, and settles back to blow on her nails to help the polish dry.
