Girls Night Out - Room 231 - Part one

Upstairs far above the bar, Room 231 has been rented for the night of fun and a warning placed on the Door. No one Under 21 allowed inside... And a sign, with large script written so neatly you would swear it was typed saying Girls Night Out in Progress. Men may enter at their own risk.

You can say this for a Command.Com, when they go about making a party they go ALL the way out. Three tables are set up with User-friendly only snacks and booze, Sprite Friendly only snacks and booze, and a rather bare table waiting for booze that the kitsune promised to bring, being friendly to both data and matter beings!

Pillows abound around a big screen TV, over in a corner several bags sit waiting to surprise the people about the come in. Now all that all that's missing are the girls for their night of fun.

"Aaaaaah." Laini nods in understanding. "Rather a good reason then- wouldn't want it around where he could get exposed to it, even by accident."

"I'll have to bring the plaid nail polish from home- also the pokadot and paisley. Those colors are rather hard to find outside of Underhill."

Laini does mean those as singular colors, all in one bottle each.

"But, certainly for next time!"

"Yuh huh." She says, "I do a little, but I keep it all locked up? And only take it out for commissions?"

Zelda smiles at the thought of more girl's night parties. This is fun!

She looks down at her toes and wiggles them. All of her nails are dry and she puts on her slippers again. "I think I'm going to have to head back downstairs." she says apologetically.

She stands and starts to head out the door, waving good bye to everyone.

Mia pouts a little, but smiles immediately after.

"Good night, Zelda."

Laini chuckles quietly, and waves after Zelda.

"See you next time!"

Laini winks at Dot, raising her glass as well.

"And that's what counts, isn't it?"

"YUP!" Did we mention Dot is a total lightweight?

"I'm going to have lots of fun, once I find some good looking 'giftwrap'."

"Rather like how we have to deal with iron in Underhill- but that's more that the whole place doesn't like it. Well, Underhill and the Sidhe, but not too many of them ever come to Furhold, much less our labs and whatnot." Laini shakes her head.

"...I understood some of the words you said." Suzi manages after a minute, "But not all of them?"

"That's why you were looking through those catalogues, the other day?" Ears perked.

"Partially......" She's got a spam eating grin now. "I did buy a few surprises for the people I invited from them..."

Laini giggles, and finds a convienent seat.

"Underhill is the world where I'm from, so to speak. Furhold is more specifically the realm where I live. Sidhe, spelled s-i-d-h-e, are elves. Pointy ears."

Her form blurs for a moment, and Laini shifts into an elf form briefly to demonstrate.

"Iron tends to warp the magic of Underhill, and mess things up. Its also a poison to elves, if they come into contact with it. Why humans on Earthside would use it to protect themselves from the Sidhe, ages ago."

... Laini just returns that grin right back.

"Oh, fun. I'm assuming that's after we get much more drunk?"

Enter a She-Hulk, carrying three HUGE shopping bags and a bottle of spiced rum.

"Ladies! The cavalry has arrived!"

"Yes. Much more drunk."

She giggles and takes another shot of the cloudahol.

"And maybe teasing boys on the phone later."

"Jennifer! You made it!"

Looks like someone's already had a few shots. "What's in the bags?"

"Ooooooooooooo, rum!" Blame Jack Sparrow.

"Of course I made it! Sorry I'm late, Dot, but I had to stop by Barney's."

Which can only mean one thing. Jen puts down two of the shopping bags, and holds the third open so Dot can see inside.

There are bottles of Chanel and Christian Dior nail polish in every single shade available; the bag contains at least a hundred bottles, plus jars of foot cream, pumice stones, nail files, nail brushes, top coat, bottom coat, mid coat, and everything else appopriate for a DeLuxe manicure or pedicure.

Kids at Christmas have less absolutely delighted smiles than Dot. Granted she's made of data not matter but DAMN that's a lot of pampering in there!

"Oh Wow... what did you do, buy out the entire store?"

"Okay, darlin'. Watch carefully." Mouse gets out a bottle of red nail polish - fortunately Dot's nails area already nicely trimmed, she doesn't need to do anything complicated - and shows Suzi how to wipe the brush on the rim of the bottle so it doesn't drip. Then she starts painting the fingernails on Dot's left hand, with careful strokes from around the cuticle to the tip. "Ya need ta do one coat first, and then another - maybe add some finisher on top. An' ya need ta put the little stones on with special glue, but we'll get ta that later. Just try paintin', fer now. Take it slow."

"Well!" Mouse exclaims, "I didn't know Users came in green, too! Welcome ta the party. My name's Mouse. What's yours, darlin'?"

Conversely, Jen is delighted to see that Dot's friends seem to come in all colors of the rainbow, and nothing but. Technicolor girls unite!

"This User comes in verdant shades," she grins, and offers a hand. "I'm Jennifer, and you're about ten shades of gorgeous. Are you from the same PC as Dot?"

"Hi, Suzi! I haven't seen you since you disagreed with that giant worm at Zed's place. Spiced rum and some fruit juices to top it off. Or vice versa, actually. This stuff's lethal, though. I thought we could make Goombay Smashes, or Sex With the Captains."

She would blame Jack Sparrow, but she could also blame pirates in general.

"Close. I walked into Barney's - that's a department store where I'm from, with a huge beauty section - and just bought whatever they had. Chanel's the best polish; it even holds up pretty well during a fight. I once tossed the Rhino around and only had to do a minor touch up after I was done."
