Girls Night Out - Room 231 - Part one

Upstairs far above the bar, Room 231 has been rented for the night of fun and a warning placed on the Door. No one Under 21 allowed inside... And a sign, with large script written so neatly you would swear it was typed saying Girls Night Out in Progress. Men may enter at their own risk.

You can say this for a Command.Com, when they go about making a party they go ALL the way out. Three tables are set up with User-friendly only snacks and booze, Sprite Friendly only snacks and booze, and a rather bare table waiting for booze that the kitsune promised to bring, being friendly to both data and matter beings!

Pillows abound around a big screen TV, over in a corner several bags sit waiting to surprise the people about the come in. Now all that all that's missing are the girls for their night of fun.

Want to feel oh so pretty and pampered? The hand and foot spas are bubbling warmly and the girls have brought their make up and mirrors. Get gussied up all girly like... or get silly and put on some war paint.

Suzi didn't bring makeup or anything like it...she's never worn any.

Mouse does not generally wear makeup for the purposes most women do, and there doesn't seem to be any for her skin's particular color values anyway - admittedly, her coloration is rather unusual, even as sprite colors go. But she has often disguised herself before, in the course of doing some of her less-than-legal work, so she has a deft hand with makeup.

"Lesse," she says, going through the various options for Suzi. "Ah! Here's some eyeliner...an' matchin' blue eyeshadow an' lipstick! Say, ya wouldn't mind havin' blue lips ta go with yer eyelids, would ya?"

"I don't mind!" She assures the other woman, "I've never done anything like this before!"

"Okay then! Hold still, darlin'." It takes a few minutes, User time, or nanos, sprite time, to apply all the makeup. Mouse does the eyeshadow and eyeliner first, then the lipstick and a bit of lipliner, plus a touch of blue blusher on Suzi's cheekbones. She also uses a glitter coating to make all the colored areas sparkle. "Done! Here's the mirror, Sugar. I think you'd pass for a very pretty-lookin' sprite."

"I'm too beige." She argues, but she's grinning when she looks in the mirror, "Thank you...I don't know how to do this, or I'd do something for you, too."

"You any good at doin' hair?" Mouse asks. She normally wears hers up with chopsticks, but what better time for fooling around with it than this?

"Mmm. A little? Yours is a little straighter than mine, but I bet I could get it to do something fun..." Suzi's hair is traumatically curly. We say traumatically because if she doesn't tie it back before going to sleep it becomes, er. Icon.

Generally she fights it into ringlets.

"Never thought I'd ever meet someone who'd call my hair straigher'n theirs," Mouse says, taking out the chopsticks and shaking her head. She has more hair than you'd think, falling in a red-and-gold river down to the middle of her back. "It looks like it's got static in it, but it don't, really," she reassures Suzi.

"Mine's awful." she says cheerfully, "But lots of Sime have the same kind of hair." She digs all ten fingers and eight tentacles into the glittery mass and after a moment of consideration begins a complex series of twists to build little rosettes of barrel curls working with the natural curl in Mouse's hair and supplementing it as needed with purple ribbons.

Mouse is obviously impressed when she looks in the mirror. "Heh! Hey, not bad at all!" She shakes her head back and forth, watching the curls sway. "Now ain't we just a lovely-lookin' pair?"

"Uh huh. I'll have to try to describe it all to Whistler." She shakes her head with a laugh, "Even if most of it'll be lost on him."

Mia takes a seat and runs her hands behind her ears.

"Have at it, Zelda," she says with a smile.

Zelda begins to french braid her hair on the right side. When she finishes that side she secures it, then begins on the left. Finally she braids the rest of her hair into a long braid down Mia's back and ties it off with a pink ribbon to match her dress.

"There." she says, finishing. "What do you think?"

Zelda glances around and spots one, then hands it to Mia while she finds another to let her see the back.

"What about those?" she asks, peering over at the nail polish nearby. "What is that for?"

Cue one kitsune peering over their shoulders at the nail polish.

"Those, are special types of paints and laquers for putting on your finger nails- and toe nails, if you'd like. Waterproof, and it usually lasts for a few days. Longer, if you're careful with your hands."

Laini blinks, then grins.

"-Looks like they have glow-in-the-dark with silver glitter..."

Three guesses as to the color Laini will be picking for herself, here.

That sounds pretty. Zelda smiles and begins looking through the colors for something that would match her dress. "That looks like fun!" she says, bouncing slightly.

Laini chuckles, and settles down, tossing the (closed) bottle of glow-in-the-dark silver glitter polish from hand to hand.

"Takes a bit to dry, and usually easier to have someone else do the painting- why its usually a staple for these sorts of parties, y'see."
