Girls Night Out - Room 231 - Part one

Upstairs far above the bar, Room 231 has been rented for the night of fun and a warning placed on the Door. No one Under 21 allowed inside... And a sign, with large script written so neatly you would swear it was typed saying Girls Night Out in Progress. Men may enter at their own risk.

You can say this for a Command.Com, when they go about making a party they go ALL the way out. Three tables are set up with User-friendly only snacks and booze, Sprite Friendly only snacks and booze, and a rather bare table waiting for booze that the kitsune promised to bring, being friendly to both data and matter beings!

Pillows abound around a big screen TV, over in a corner several bags sit waiting to surprise the people about the come in. Now all that all that's missing are the girls for their night of fun.

"A little more'n..." Mouse mentally runs through the User timescale, trying to find the appropriate unit. "Five years. We ain't always been on the same side, though. Some cycles it strikes me as kinda funny that we're both workin' ta hold Mainframe together."

"Sometimes ya get a few good right hooks in too," Mouse adds, her tone of voice indicating that she was not the one who dealt out said right hooks. "But that's all air through the coolin' fan now."

Jen laughs, because that's the best replacement for 'water under the bridge' she's possibly ever heard.

"I grok you. Meaning, I've done that dance before. Can you drink rum?"

"Ain't sure about that." Mouse's brow furrows in thought. "I really shouldn't, but I'm wonderin' how much it's likely ta hurt if I try some an' it turns out not ta be compatible with me."

Going to someone's house and shorting out their guest would be VERY poor form.

Mouse considers a bit longer, then shakes her head. "Nah. I heard what happened when Bob tried User food. Thanks fer the offer, though."
